BRHS has three campuses in Bairnsdale hosting staff and students across a wide range of professional specialties including medical and clinical, information technology, administration and finance, and logistics.
Opened officially as Bairnsdale Hospital in July 1940, our Day Street campus is home to the Hospital and Emergency Department along with a range of other services.
Tambo Ward – ground floor: acute inpatients and high dependency unit.
Flanagan Ward – ground floor: subacute rehabilitation inpatients.
Rotamah Ward – first floor: acute inpatients, maternity ward and birthing suites, and palliative care.
