Ash strides to fundraising goal, and gets a little extra help

BRHS Prostate Cancer specialist Nurse Ashley Leach raised more than $1,600 by walking 72km during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and recently received a generous top-up from the St Mary’s Op Shop in Bairnsdale.

St Mary’s Op Shop has donated a further $1,000 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, via Ashley.

“This donation contributes to ongoing research and funding for the much needed and appreciated local support and care that we provide at BRHS and efforts by Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia,” Ashley said.

St Mary’s Op Shop are regular contributors to organisations and causes benefit our local community.
