Despite the challenges of the past 12 months we have all faced, it’s been a particularly big year for Graham Hackett.

In August of last year we brought you the story of how Graham, an orderly and cleaner at BRHS, secured a scholarship to gain qualifications as an Operating Theatre Technician. He’s since taken on a few shifts in that new role.

“Each time he sees you he treats you like you are really special in how he greets you and communicates with you.”

And to wrap up 2020, Graham was awarded the Mr/Ms Congeniality Award as part of the BRHS Trademark Behaviours Awards.

The Mr/Ms Congeniality Award is given to a staff person that is consistently positive, supports others, and displays trust and mutual respect.

“Graham goes above and beyond to be cheerful, happy and positive,” wrote one colleague in nominating Graham for the award. “Each time he sees you he treats you like you are really special in how he greets you and communicates with you. Fantastic personality and team player.”

Many of his friends and BRHS have remarked that Graham is very generous with his time and is always willing to help if needed.

“Graham is always concerned that your day is going as well as his.”

Congratulations Graham, and to all staff that were nominated for the Trademark Behaviours Awards.
