Harmony Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 21 at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service’s Ross Street Campus with a BBQ lunch that is open to the community.
Harmony Day is an annual event that coincides with the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The message of Harmony Day is ‘everyone belongs’. It is a day to celebrate Australia’s diversity and a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.
Lunch will be held from 11am until 12.30pm at a cost of $6 per plate and BRHS hopes community members will come along to help mark the occasion.
