Everyone at BRHS is feeling a terrific mixture of excited, proud and honoured this week after winning two awards at the East Gippsland Business Awards last Thursday night.

In a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work, commitment and ingenuity of staff right across the health service, BRHS won the Environmental Sustainability and Health & Related Services awards.

Many thanks to The Old Station Café and Monash Rural Health, which sponsored those awards, and congratulations to the all the other winners, finalists and sponsors that made for such a terrific night and a celebration of this region’s business community.

The Environmental Sustainability and Health & Related Services awards are the result of a constant energy for innovation and improvement that inspires not only how we provide health care for the local community, but also our approach to all the services that support BRHS’ core function.

“Our vision is that BRHS will continue to be a respected leader in outstanding healthcare,” said BRHS CEO Robyn Hayles. “These awards tell us we are heading in the right direction, and that we have the support and encouragement of the local community.”

“I acknowledge and thank all the staff at BRHS whose hard work is recognised by the receipt of these awards.”

Many thanks to the staff at the Bairnsdale Advertiser for sharing these photos from the night. For more news from the awards night grab today’s copy of the Bairnsdale Advertiser.
