It’s a simple message, but a critical one:
If you have an appointment at BRHS coming up, you have to call ahead to confirm your appointment.
This is especially important for our Community Health Services at the Ross Street Campus.
Anyone with an appointment at Ross Street must call 5152 0222 to confirm or reschedule your appointment.
BRHS was one of a number of regional hospitals in Victoria impacted by a cyber security incident last week.
And although it has been business as usual for the most part, the program that records appointments in some departments was affected.
That message again:
If you have an appointment at BRHS coming up, you have to call ahead to confirm your appointment. This is especially important for appointments at Ross Street.
The number to call at Ross Street is 5152 0222.
The security of patient and staff information has not been compromised by the cyber security incident.
Local people that are ill or injured should continue to turn to BRHS as they usually would for medical assistance.
You can find contact phone numbers for all BRHS departments at www.brhs.com.au/health-services
