It’s been a challenging year at BRHS, a time in which staff and teams all over the health service have risen to the occasion.

One of the teams that has really stepped up when the chips were down is the Supply department.

Sourcing and maintaining our stocks of hand sanitiser, personal protective equipment and other protections against COVID, while still keeping all regular functions of the health service stocked, has been a massive challenge.

But Lucinda Fleming and the Supply team has constantly delivered the goods.

Improvement and Innovation Advisor, Julie Lawrence, is just one staff person expressing her appreciation for their efforts, nominating the Supply team for BRHS Trademark Behaviours Awards.

Our Trademark Behaviours Awards are an opportunity for our staff to give a shout out to people they think are worthy of recognition for the great work they do at BRHS.

“The Supply team was absolutely outstanding in its response and support during the bushfires and then COVID response,” Julie wrote in her online nomination. “No ask was too much. In a year of unknowns, the Supply team continues to support the organisation with a reliable, consistent, known and trusted service. Every day.”

Good on you Julie, and congratulations to Supply on your outstanding work.

If you work at BRHS, take a moment to nominate a person or team. (It’s especially good to nominate someone outside your own team or department.)

All you have to do is click on the Trademark Behaviours Awards link and follow the simple prompts.

Deadline for nominations is 11 October.
