Here’s something you don’t come across too often.
Big city career opportunities, nestled between the beach and the snow fields.
Welcome to East Gippsland, where our ambitious and high-functioning health service is looking for experienced nursing and clinical professionals to take leading roles in making BRHS one of the best in Australia.
We are excited to now be accepting applications for two key positions:
Director of Quality and Education
The newly-created role of Director of Quality and Education has been established to develop BRHS’ key clinical frameworks and lead its quality, education and research strategies.
The role will be responsible for ensuring a robust integrated approach to clinical education and ensure professional, proactive university relationships and support of rural workforce pathways. This role will oversee the processes of organisational risk and integrity requirements.
There’s a lot of boxes the right person will have to tick, but chief among them is senior nursing or clinical leadership experience, and post-graduate qualification in management, education and/or clinical governance.
We don’t just want someone experienced, we want someone courageous – someone with vision.
Sound like you or someone you know?
Clinical Operations Manager
We’re also looking to do the impossible and replace our irreplaceable Clinical Operations Manager.
This is a senior nursing position which will deputise for the Director of Clinical Operations\Chief Nurse (DCO) as required and provide strong clinical and nursing leadership for the inpatient overnight clinical units and the ED.
Quite simply, this is one of the most vital roles in the health service.
You’ll oversee and manage the clinical operations of the health service during business hours to ensure hospital operations achieve safe, effective consumer centred care, and be responsible for the team of Patient Services Coordinators and systems that support effective operations outside of business hours.
Again, we want someone who not only has the necessary years of experience, but someone who has shined, an inspiration for their colleagues and someone with ideas on how to build a better health service.
Ready to make the best move you ever made?
If you know people that might be suited to either of these roles, help us attract the brightest and best to East Gippsland by sharing this information with them.
