The excellent folks on BRHS’ PHEW Committee (PHEW stands for Positive Health and Employee Wellbeing) have rolled out another terrific little initiative for staff, with the launch of a BRHS Book Exchange in the staff dining room.

The BRHS Book Exchange is open now. All contributions of books will be much appreciated.

Staff are encouraged to take a book or leave a book, and to use the post-it notes on the bookshelf to leave a short review or recommendation.

“We know there are a lot of book lovers at BRHS, and we want to encourage that love of reading and also provide activities that support staff connection and relaxation,” said PHEW member Mardi McLaughlin. “We have also have had a number of staff show their interest in a book club. We’re planning kicking that off as soon as we can access the local library!”
