In response to the positive COVID-19 case in Latrobe City, an additional pop-up, drive-through testing site will be established at the Traralgon Recreation Reserve.

Testing is for those experiencing symptoms, however minor, and those who have visited the Tier 2 listed exposure sites listed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Testing site operating hours:

Traralgon Recreation Reserve – drive through – 9.30am – 5pm Monday 30 August, Tuesday 31 August and Wednesday 1 September.

To access this drive-through clinic, please follow traffic management signage and enter from Howitt Street (via Liddiard Road) turning left into the back entrance of the Recreation Reserve.

Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium – drive through – 9.30am – 5pm Monday 30 August, Tuesday 31 August and Wednesday 1 September.

To access this drive-through clinic, please follow traffic management signage and enter from Kosciusko Street turning into Catterick Crescent following the crescent around to the carpark entrance. Please refrain from blocking local residents’ driveways.

The Latrobe Valley Respiratory Clinic in Morwell has also increased testing capacity. Bookings are required.

Traffic Management will be in place to assist the flow of traffic at the Traralgon pop up testing sites to ensure residents in these areas are able to readily access entrance and egress from their properties. We ask that those attending these sites follow the directional traffic signage.

As experienced yesterday, please be advised that large numbers are expected at both testing sites today. These drive-through sites do not require an appointment or referral.

People are asked to please remain patient when queuing for testing and follow the direction of staff at these testing sites.
