To protect our patients and the community, and help reduce the spread of viruses, BRHS is strictly limiting visitor access to the hospital and Maddocks Gardens aged care facility.
We ask that you please avoid any nonessential visits to the hospital.

These restrictions on visiting will be enforced, and will supersede all other visiting allowances until further notice.
The main hospital reception is attended seven days a week between the hours of 7.30am and 8.00pm

Patients’ visitors are welcome and encouraged to visit during our main opening hours. We kindly ask that all visitors and family observe any rest time signage that may be on display and we encourage you to enquire at the nurse’s station at any time if you need information regarding visiting.
Operating Hours, Monday-Friday (except public holidays)
- Allied Health – 8.15 a.m – 4.30 p.m
- X-Ray – 8 a.m – 6 p.m
- Consulting Rooms – 8.30 a.m – 5 p.m
- Dental – 8.15 a.m – 4.30 p.m
- Community Health – 8 a.m – 4.30 p.m
- Pathology – 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Patient / Visitor Car Parking
Car parking is located in close proximity to the hospital:
- Day Street
- Off Victoria Street
- Off McKean Street
Limited parking is designated for outpatients and visiting consultant’s patients in the McKean Street car park. Please observe the signs.
Parking is NOT PERMITTED outside the main hospital entrance however short stay drop off bays are available and are restricted to a maximum of five minutes.
Please observe all no smoking, safety and mobile phone signage. Please note that as of 1st January 2009, smoking is strictly prohibited on all BRHS grounds including community health and dental.

Food and Refreshments
Visitors that have been properly screened on entry can now purchase takeaway food and coffee from the BRHS Dining Area.
Takeaway food and drinks will be available from the cafeteria between 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Coffee, tea and treats are available from Little Miss Beanz coffee cart from 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
