Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are between 9am and 7pm.
There are restrictions in place and are subject to change. For the latest information about visiting BRHS, go to brhs.com.au/coronavirus
We kindly ask that all visitors and family observe any rest time signage that may be on display.
We encourage you to enquire at the nurse’s station at any time if you need information regarding visiting.

Main Reception
The main hospital reception is attended seven days a week between the hours of 7.30am and 8.00pm

Operating Hours
Monday-Friday (except public holidays)
- Allied Health – 8.15am to 4.30pm
- Medical Imaging (X-Ray) – 8,ooam to 6.00 pm
- Consulting Rooms – 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Dental – 8.15am to 4.30pm
- Community Health (Ross St.) – 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Pathology – 8.00am to 4.00pm
Patient / Visitor Car Parking
Car parking is located in close proximity to the hospital:
- Day Street
- Off Victoria Street
- Off McKean Street
Limited parking is designated for outpatients and visiting consultant’s patients in the McKean Street car park. Please observe the signs.
Parking is NOT PERMITTED outside the main hospital entrance however short stay drop off bays are available and are restricted to a maximum of five minutes.
Safety
Please observe all no smoking, safety and mobile phone signage.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on all BRHS grounds, including our Ross Street campus.
Food and Refreshments
Visitors that have been properly screened on entry can now purchase takeaway food and coffee from the BRHS Dining Area.
Cafeteria
Takeaway food and drinks will be available from the cafeteria between 9.00am to 2.30pm.
Coffee Cart
Coffee, tea and treats are available from Little Miss Beanz coffee cart from 6.45am to 3.00pm.
Kiosk
Selling sandwiches, snacks, drinks, toys and small gifts.
Accepts cash and EFTPOS.
Seven days a week, 12.00pm to 3.00pm
Vending machine
A vending machine that takes cash and eftPOS transactions is always available in our Emergency Department.
