Get the dental care your children need without putting the bite on the family budget through Bairnsdale Regional Health Service’s dental clinic.
Children under the age of 13 are eligible for free dental treatment through BRHS.
Treatment is also free for children from their 13th birthday or if their parent or carer has a concession card, are eligible for Services Australia’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) through Medicare or are Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander.
If you and your children don’t qualify, there is a low one-off fee of $37 for care at BRHS’ dental service.
BRHS Executive Community Wellbeing and Aged Care Sonia Reisenhofer said the initiative is another way that BRHS supports East Gippsland families.
“Dental health is crucial to everyone’s overall health. Getting dental health right means a brighter and healthier future for children, so we’re happy to open our doors to any children that need dental care,” Sonia said.
“Our dental staff are friendly and very well qualified. With free or very low-cost appointments available, there’s no reason for children to miss out on good dental care.”
To book an appointment, or if you are unsure if your child aged 13 or over qualifies for free dental care, please phone our dental service on 5152 0278.
